DayClox 8EC is possibly the most exciting model with even “Easier to Read” digital Calendar clock with 12 or 24 hour modes and dual Date mode.

COLOUR or Black & White Display Option.

The clock was quickly embraced by the Alzheimer's, Dementia and Sight impaired communities as being the best clock with its size, the ability to be Wall Hanging or Self Standing for use in almost any environment, home or office: Especially favoured as it did not include any other features that could confuse, or distract it from its purpose!

Display is in English Only.

  • This latest edition to the DayClox brand Digital Calendar Day Clocks has 2 NEW display options which can be selected through the menu - choice of BLACK & WHITE sections or RED, WHITE & BLUE sections. These new display sections allow for easier differentiation & understanding of the displayed information. This format helps the eyes focus on an individual section of the screen and not view it all together, which may be difficult for some people.
  • Each day is divided into 5 CYCLES, MORNING, AFTERNOON, EVENING, NIGHT & BEFORE DAWN which is perfect for those struggling to differentiate between the AM & PM notations. • The preset Cycle Start Times are: Morning 6:00 a.m. / Afternoon 12:00 Noon / Evening 6:00 p.m. / Night 9:00 p.m. / Before Dawn 12:00 midnight. By displaying BEFORE DAWN after Midnight (versus displaying Morning or Night) helps minimize the problem of seniors getting up & out of bed to start their day in the wee hours of the morning.
  • The Day of the Week, Cycle & Date are fully spelled out. NO ABBREVIATIONS! Many seniors suffering from memory loss due to dementia, stroke, Alzheimer's or just advancing years, often have difficulty processing abbreviated words. It is an In-Home-Care necessity and makes the perfect Senior Care Gift.
  • AUTO DIMMING for Night-time use! The clock display automatically dims down approx. 50% every night at 9:00 p.m. & automatically reverts back to full brightness at 6:00 a.m. the next morning. Great for the ELDERLY, the VISUALLY IMPAIRED & people with Macular Degeneration. The sharp, non-glare clear display with sections can be seen from across the room. The words Dementia, Alzheimer’s or Memory Loss are ‘not’ printed on the clock itself or the packaging so it makes a great gift for those special loved ones.
  • Battery Backup - in the event of a loss of power to the clock due to either a power outage or the clock being unplugged, the clock will maintain the correct time ‘internally’. The accurate time will then display after the power is restored or the clock is plugged back in.
  • 12 Month Guarantee.

  • The DayClox brand is the most well-known in the UK market, the clocks also have a singular purpose which non-technical people will find more comforting than potential confusing "dual-displays"

Thank you Dayclox for the great service and most of all the clock. I bought it for mum and this is the first weekend I have had this year where I have not had to answer the phone every half hour to answer what day or time is? This is going to make such a difference to us all. Thanks again.

Bought two of these for my grandparents house. I love the colour screen, it is so clear! They have both really seen the benefit of having them although it is just my nanna that has dementia. Great clock and happy to recommend them to anyone.

Really impressed, really clear, really neat! Going to buy another for my mom as she is now forgetting days. Thanks you guys! I don't think this will be the last of them in Florida once my mom see's it and tells all her bingo and bowling ladies about it.
